Debbie was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. She started her dance career at age 18 and quickly fell in love with ballroom dancing. A few years later, she fell in love and married Jim Sullivan.

Debbie has traveled all over the U.S. teaching, competing, performing, and judging. She and her husband opened their DanceQuest studio 14 years ago. “We wanted to offer the community a safe and comfortable environment to learn how to dance.”

Debbie believes that teaching someone to dance is so rewarding and life changing for both the teacher and the student. Dancing is great for your mind, soul, and body. When you are dancing, all the stresses of the day seem to melt away.

Jim passed away in January of 2010 from leukemia. “Thanks to God, to my wonderful staff, and to my students, DanceQuest is still going strong. Come join us to see how much fun dancing can be!”

“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass…It’s about learning to dance in the rain.
